DeLeon Chrisandra Richardson hails from the beautiful Island of Anguilla, though she considers herself a child of region being of Kittitian, Montserratian, Trinidadian and US Virgin Island decent.

Her passion for law began at a very young age as she strived to emulate her maternal grandmother who was an additional magistrate and Justice of the Peace in the Island of Anguilla.

Biography

In 2012, Ms. Richardson attained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences form the University of the Virgin Islands, graduating Magna Cum Laude

She would later go on to pursue her passion for the law when she attended the University of the west indies (Cave Hill Campus) in 2012 attaining upper second class honors when she graduated in 2015.

She would complete the journey of pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer when she attended the Norman Manley Law school where she received the HH DUN in Legal Drafting and Interpretation.

Ms. Richardson was called to the Anguilla Bar on February 22nd 2018 where she continues to practice to date.

In April of 2018, Ms. Richardson Joined the firm of KCW ET AL where she served as Junior Legal Counsel practicing in all areas of law from civil to criminal law, and in October of 2021, she joined Astaphan’s Chambers where she currently serves in the capacity of Associate Counsel in criminal and civil litigation.

Ms. Richardson has also been an advocate for childhood education and development as she assists the children of her alma mater, Adrien T Hazel Primary School in preparation for their Test Of Standards exams and teaches children extra-curricular activities such as dancing.
